Psi024Alpha
The rendering setup is similar to PsiAlpha,
but now also Re{Y2} is shown as white volumetric
clouds. Y2 stands for the Coulomb part of
the gravitational field and is an indicator for matter-like static
regions:
Weyl Scalar (complex) |
radial falloff |
asymptotic interpretation |
Y0 | -1/r2 |
(ingoing) |
Y1 | -1/r |
(ingoing) |
Y2 | (coulomb) |
(static) |
Y3 | 1/r |
(outgoing) |
Y4 | 1/r2 |
(outgoing) |
For this subcritical Brill Wave, Y2 mainly radiates
away with the main Y4 pulse. Only a small
numerical residuum is left at the end.
